This incredible example of an Escort RS Turbo belongs to Kirstin Taylor, from Essex. The list of Kirstin's modifications fulfils any serious modifiers wish list and then goes further, miles further! No stones have been left unturned, with exterior, interior, ICE, Engine and of course Security all receiving almost un-measurable amounts of attention, time and of course English sterling! |
| The bodywork is in undeniably fantastic condition, as is the rest of the car...mods are subtle but prove very effective in enhancing the mkIV escorts already very appealing contours. Clear front and side indicators modernise the front end whilst smoked tail lights complement the rear. |

| A mighty fine set of 7x17" Kahn RS-Rs sit snugly under the arches and look superb, these are kept firmly on the road (as much as is possible!) by Falken GRB Tyres. The original offset of the alloys did not "feel" right so they were machined from an ET35 to ET39 offset which felt much better. |

From this angle you can see just how well the car sits. This is thanks to Koni top adjustable shock absorbers and Leda Progressive and Lowered uprated springs. As well as the obvious performance gains and increased handling it has also dropped the car by 35mm which is not to shy considering its running on 17's as well! To help stop this animal you need some big old discs...and thats exactly what Kirstin has got. Stopping power is provided by a set of 280mm 2wd Cosworth Front discs with 4x4 calipers, and Performace Friction Carbon Metallic Z rated Brake Pads. The rear setup is using Tarox grooved brake drums with Mintex shoes, standard brake lines have been done away with and both are now using braided Goodridge lines. |
