Do you get frustrated with the unsightly sight and smell of your crank case breather emitting fumes? If so an oil catch tank might just be what you need. It basically filters the fumes and oil away from the top of your engine (on a CVH) and allows the fumes to recollect in a seperate container ie a catch tank. From here it is easily possible to drain this captured oil and either reuse it if you wish or cleanly disposed of. |

The only problem I found in fitting this was the severe lack of space that was not available to me due to a different fuel pump and Fuel pressure regulator taking up vital mounting space, this of course may not be a problem for you. As it turned out I had a good friend of mine make a bracket up for me that allowed me to mount it under the battery tray...that was after rellocating the horn on the opposite side of the engine bay. |

All that was left to do was run a bit of oil pipe form the rocker cover, across the backside of the engine to the newly mounted oil catch tank. I can gladly report that the amount of fumes has dropped considerably and the in car smell of oil that I had got acustomed to has also vanished! |
