RING are a well known aftermarket bulb and lighting provider for the vast array of chariots on are roads today. The product we are looking at here is there Sportz Blue Headlight upgrade bulbs.

The bulbs themselves come in RING's usual plastic outer sleeve and has carboard partitions seprating the bulbs...Nothing to get excited about but nothing to criticise either.

Right on with the article...The bulbs themselves are keenley priced at £15.99 so they wont break the bank and they are a doddle to fit simply sitting in the place of your existing bulb.

They claim that the bulbs have an intense white light and high power beam that will give a distinctive and stylish look to your vehicle as well as aiding visibility. Lets see if their claims are true...

To test the RING Sportz Blue items we compared them to a set of standard Ford Fiesta MK2 bulbs. The vehicle was taken to a quiet country style lane where there were no street lights and no additional lighting so as to ensure that all the light produced was coming from the headlights alone!

Two pictures were taken with both sets of bulbs respectively and from the same distances / points - One from a "Drivers Perspective" and one from an "Oncomers perspective" The results were quite interesting sa you will see below...

The first pictures show the two positions as mentioned above with the standard bulbs fitted.

The difference was huge! The easiest way to see it in the above pictures is to look at the grassy areas and see how much more detail / visible area there is.

The Bulbs more than meet there claim of a purer, whiter light and the amount your visibility increases is substansial. They are easy to fit and offer great value for money!
