Thankfully the organisers of what was in effect the 4th South Of England cruise decided to make the start time for the TBOB 10am, which was a welcomed change from the mad rush to normally get up mid way through the early hours to try and get to a show in time.

The basic concept was Legally gather modified car enthusiasts together and show off each others cars, in the safety of a semi controlled area, and on private land, and in all honesty bar one small appearance, the police stayed well clear and left the show goers alone! (Which was nice for once!)

The event was held at an airfield near Guildford, London...and as can be seen hundreds if not thousands of people attended on both club stands and also just to visit, ameneties were provided including the usual "death burger" van, and there was generally a lot of space to move about and take a look at the various clubs cars that were on show.

The likes of FordSport, RSOC, and the FOC were all present so there was plenty of good Fords to look at!

Redline magazine were in attendance and that meant the absolutely gorgeous Alana was present providing exciteable gents the chance to have a signed picture with the lovely lady showing off her "charms" from the looks of things they absolutely raked it in too!

As the event entered its afternoon stages, to the far end of the runway a large arena was constructed of people and various cars entered the ring to show off their donoughting skills, and generally burning out a large amount of rubber!

This carried on as lots of people wanted a go and it only stopped when the police arrived...and resumed again once they had left of course!

The only victim of the day, an Astras gearbox that decided to explode, so without sounding harsh, no harm done!

With so many people turning up on the day and "generally" good behaviour it would be hard to see why there would not be another one of these legal events, and to be honest I think there is going to be - as many as 4 a year!

So at last it seems that there is a Legal way to meet and have fun with your cars without trouble from the Police! Watch out for more news on these events on FastFords.org.uk or check out the organisers site here
