October 2002: Still awaiting the engine to be berretted and assembled to check clearances and compression ratio. If all goes well then it should be put together this month. |

| My Quaife ATB diff has arrived and looks awesome, lets hope it can out perform the series one ERST LSD that it has replaced. This is being built into a nicely polished gearbox case in conjunction with custom gears, final drive and uprated mainshaft bearing by Dean at Shepherds (01245) 477999 |

Finished making the gauge pod to fit in where the stereo head unit would of gone, oil pressure, water temp and volts...all important and useful. |

As you can see there is less and less inside now but with one of the Sparco seats bolted in ready with the Sabelt Harnesses at least I have something to sit on! anything not really essential has been removed in an attempt to reduce the cars weight. Things like wipers, motors, wiring, trim...the lot its all gone! and just to prolong the inevitable I have been getting busy with some Waxoyl as can be seen on the picture - indicated by the large yeallowish blob of wax! |

Finally got round to cleaning up my now rather empty looking engine bay, a few more bits to clean up before the new engine can be dropped in. |

Have acquired my new OZ Superleggera wheels! The only draw back being they are 7" wide which now touches the front shocks! A touch less camber me thinks as well as a bit of arch work should have them nicely tucked away. Exscuse the filth on the car, its not been washed for a bit for obvious reasons and the height it sits at is down to there being no weight on the car anymore, just in case you were wondering! |
