September 2002:

• Fitted MOMO Race steering wheel.

• It was time to say goodbye to my much loved leather interior but that has now gone to a good home!

Everything is now being taken out of the car with only a few bits left to be removed, including the sun roof, and some more bits of stubborn sound deadening. (exscuse the mess btw its also doubling as a mobile skip until the waste can be disposed of)

Also found this on the floor pan under all the sound deadening!

• New bucket seats and harnesses have arrived and am currently in the process of having some brackets made up to safely fit the seats to my existing runners.

• My new engine is currently being dummy built, featuring steel H section rods, fully lightened and balanced bottom end, fully worked head, prototype high lift cam, twin 40's, Magnex manifold and system, Quaife ATB diff with custom gears and uprated mainshaft bearing and a seriously lightened flywheel. (see pictures below)
